Pretty much every year, we experience at least a day or two of high winds, if not even more extreme weather including ice, snow, and everything in between. Trees that are perfectly healthy but not used to such weather patterns, can fail during these storms. Though trees that already have various weaknesses, diseases, decay, etc. generally are the trees that get the worst of it. In this sad reality, we can help. It is considered emergency tree work when a tree fails and is hazardous to human life. Due to unpredictable weight dispersement, we encourage folks to stay clear of failed or actively failing trees. When in doubt, call an arborist and tell them you have a potential emergency. If you think a tree or limb is resting on a power line - keep FAR away and call the power company.
